Our contractor client are seeking a Framework Manager to oversee delivery of civil biased wastewater projects in the Lancashire area.
These are new AMP8 projects our client has secured on United Utilities. These projects, valued between £100k and £1m, will involve concrete structural works alongside mechanical and electrical elements.
The role requires ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, optimising project performance, and fostering strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Responsibilities
Proactively manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring effective planning, resource allocation and programming as key tools to drive successful delivery.
Provide leadership and direction to Delivery Managers within the team, ensuring alignment with project goals and company objectives.
Work closely with Project, Commercial, Design, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Set clear, measurable targets for team performance, ensure roles and responsibilities are well-defined, and hold team members accountable for delivering quality outcomes.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, lead framework and contract meetings, and deliver comprehensive management reporting.
Develop, maintain, and measure performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Encourage team involvement in achieving business goals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Identify opportunities to reduce costs and maximise value, ensuring projects are delivered within budget while achieving financial targets
Skills/experience/qualifications
Degree, or equivalent, in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
To hold appropriate qualifications in Project / Business Management and be able to display a sound understanding of relevant Legislation, CDM Regulations & duties, Programme, and NEC Contracts
A proven track record in Project/Frameworks Management
Experience in building collaborative relationships with existing and new clients and suppliers
To have management experience and ideally a technical understanding of the Water Industry
A full driving licence
