Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join the psychological provision of the Lincoln South Community Mental Health Team in Lincoln. The Community Mental Health Team is located within the Adult Community Mental Health Division and our mission is to provide high quality psychological services to adults who live in Lincoln. To meet appropriate standards of practice in the quality and timeliness of the service provided, to include meeting the standards defined by the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and Lincolnshire NHS Partnership Foundation Trust and any other regulatory or professional body as appropriate. To be responsible for implementing a range of psychological interventions for clients, carers, families and groups. To provide guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to clients' formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan. To undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual clients and to provide general advice to other professionals on psychological aspects of risk assessment and management. Be aware of, and keep up to date with advances in the spheres of CBT and other agreed psychological therapies To communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans of clients and to monitor and evaluate progress during the course of care.
