You'll confidently and impartially sell the full range of tickets and services, including processing high volumes of sales, and ensuring that customer requirements are met and exceeded.
Your main responsibilities will be:
1. Providing the highest level of customer service and being proactive to customer needs
2. Accurately and impartially selling the full range of products and services to our customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
3. Maximising opportunities for increased sales at ticket offices by adopting selling techniques and offering enhanced products to customers
4. Carrying out routine maintenance and cleaning of ticket machines and IT equipment
5. Accurately completing all accountancy and other associated documentation
You'll need to be:
6. Able to deliver exceptional front line customer service
7. Able to understand customer requirements and expectations
8. A Self-starter with a can do attitude
9. Confident when decision making
10. Able to remain calm yet directive in a crisis
11. Able to work to strict
As a minimum, you will need to have:

About the location:
Newton Abbot is the main station for the South Devon Area. It has good transport links to the surrounding area.
Working pattern:
This role is seasonal and provides extra cover to the Newton Abbot and Totnes roster as required. This is a shift working position, covering 7 days a week including bank holidays. There is a guaranteed minimum of 240-hours per annum.
Additional information
The role also provides relief cover for Totnes Station.
