We are supporting a fantastic engineering client who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team reporting into the Finance Director on a full time, permanent basis.
This role is predominately based on site due to the team developing; however, there is some flexibility. Salary is dependent on experience but ranging from £45,000pa - £50,000pa. There will also be a £5k annual bonus (paid quarterly) after a successful probationary period. Also fuel card, phone, etc.
Responsibilities as a Finance Manager:
1. Direct supervision of accounting assistants & credit control function
2. Assist Finance Director with reporting of monthly MI to Senior Leadership Team
3. Full reconciliation of balance sheets on monthly basis - including bank recs
4. Identify training requirements of team as well as training duties for new accounts staff
5. Manage, create and report month end packs - showing P&L, KPI's and labour data
6. Assist FD in annual budget process ensuring data has been certified
7. Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and reforecast processes
8. Daily monitoring and report of 8 week rolling cashflow
9. Analysis of management data as and when necessary
10. Accountability for all HMRC reporting
11. Oversee the HR of the department and support the HR for the group
12. Hold quarterly inter-department audits to ensure integrity of financial data
13. Monthly supervision of WIP & Stock audits
Requirements of the role as a Finance Manager:
1. Knowledge of a MRP system would be advantageous
2. 5 years Lead Finance & Nominal management essential
3. Strong Sage experience essential
4. Experience of full balance sheet reconciliations essential
5. Financial Compliance experience
6. Strengths of closely controlling a month end timetable
7. Must have experience of team management and strong delegation skills
8. Ideally fully CIMA/ACCA Qualified as a minimum or QBE
