The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain a safe and sterile environment for neonatal care, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and properly sanitised. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and closely monitor newborns' responses throughout the care process. Provide comprehensive pre-treatment and post-treatment care to neonates, ensuring their comfort and safety. Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care. Educate parents and families about neonatal care plans, potential complications, and strategies for home care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Experience in providing nursing care within a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) setting. Strong knowledge of neonatal care protocols, patient care, and safety precautions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with newborns' families and healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in maintaining accurate and detailed patient records. Flexibility and adaptability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced NICU environment.
