What we'll need you to bring
Qualifications
1. Educated to Masters level.
2. Current registered nurse qualification with the NMC
Experience, Competencies and Personal Skills
3. Significant senior management experience in the NHS or another complex multidisciplinary public or private sector organisation.
4. A significant and demonstrable track record of success in the management of service improvement, in the delivery and monitoring of high quality standards of care, in the planning and delivery of successful organisational change and in proactive partnership working internal and external to the NHS.
5. A high level of performance in the leadership behaviours identified as crucial within NHS Scotland such as working in partnership, learning and development, caring for staff, improving performance through team working, communicating effectively, improving quality and achieving results.
6. Detailed understanding of clinical best practice and policy.
7. Experience of working and successfully contributing within a senior corporate team.
8. Demonstrable experience of managing in a large, complex health organisation during a period of major change.
9. Experienced in staff management/development and multi-disciplinary working at peer level.
10. Proven people and financial management capabilities.
