Assistant Facilities Manager - Accountancy - City - £45,000
Wise May are looking for a Assistant Facilities Manager to join a friendly and busy Accountancy company based in the City.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of 4 team members, supporting them on both a day-to-day basis.
- Support in the management of resource planning for the team.
- Take ownership of the Facilities ticketing system.
- Act as the point of contact for engineers, handymen, and contractors.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all staff regarding facilities-related matters.
- Assist in reviewing current suppliers and exploring green alternatives.
- Manage the access control platform, ensuring policies and processes are followed.
- Lead the response to minor incidents such as leaks, managing the immediate situation and escalating underlying problems.
- Learn the fundamentals of fire safety procedures in the office and assist with routine fire safety monitoring.
- Serve as a designated first aider.
- Perform regular H&S checks.
Skills and Experience
- GCSEs including English and Maths grade A-C/level 4-9, or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience in a Professional environment ideally within Facilities / Workplace Management.
- Organised and able to multi-task and attention to detail.
- Understands good customer service.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) with a professional manner.
Hours 09:15 - 17:15, Monday to Friday
