Job Description Join Our Team: Special Needs Teacher (KS-1) Start: January 2024 Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Needs Teacher with experience in Key Stage-1 (KS-1)? If so, we invite you to join our dynamic team at EdNet: The Education Network, working with a leading special needs school nestled in the heart of Warrington. You will be working with a small class of 8 mixed ability students from Year-1 & Year-2. Students have mixed needs; MLD, SLD, ASD, behavioural issues, medical needs, and intimate care needs. The class is supported by two TAs and an NHS nurse. EdNet: The Education Network are committed to providing exceptional special education teachers and support staff to local specialist provisions. The school caters for students from EYFS up to A-Level (having a shared VI Form facility on site). Position Details: KS1-Specializing in MLD, SLD, ASD £120-£200 per day Located in Warrington The school is easily accessible by public transport (bus/train), should you not have access to your own vehicle. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement tailored educational plans for students with SEND. Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the best care and support for each child. Use creative teaching methods to engage and inspire students.
