Contractual hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks

An exciting opportunity has emerged for an Assessor in Mechanical Engineering (Training Advisor) to join our Engineering Apprenticeship Coordinator team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape the next generation of Mechanical Engineering professionals while playing a key role in a thriving academic community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Assessor in Mechanical Engineering (Training Advisor), you will:
Deliver and manage high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment in Mechanical Engineering within the NSG Construction & Engineering sector.
Provide hands-on and theoretical instruction in specific areas.
Support students' academic and personal growth, helping them achieve their full potential.
Develop and implement lesson plans that connect classroom learning to real-world applications.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and address the needs of all students.
Support student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression, providing guidance and tailored support.
What We’re Looking For:
We seek candidates who:
Hold a minimum Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification or a relevant Degree, and GCSEs in English and Maths.
TAQA or A1 assessor qualification, or willing to work towards
Have current knowledge and experience in teaching Mechanical Engineering.
Demonstrate effective classroom management, excellent time management, and strong communication skills.
Are proficient in preparing teaching materials using Information Learning Technology.
