Business Development Manager
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: up to £40k base + uncapped commission
Type: Full-time

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading organisation based in Basingstoke.
Role Purpose
Drive sales growth by generating new qualified leads and nurturing existing customer relationships. Build relationships with Account Directors to close opportunities and exceed customer expectations. Thrive in a target-driven, fast-paced sales environment.
Responsibilities
1. Conduct phone sales for IT networking and cyber security solutions.
2. Build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
3. Develop business with both new and existing customers.
4. Cold calling daily to generate leads and opportunities.
5. Manage prospects using an online CRM system and support marketing campaigns with follow-up emails.
6. Create proposals, quotations, and attend customer meetings when applicable.
Requirements
1. Minimum 2 years' experience in IT security technology sales.
2. Proven success in a cold-calling environment.
3. Strong communication skills with attention to detail and organisation.
4. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM tools.
6. Passion for technology and IT security with a self-starter mindset.
