An exciting opportunity for a high calibre and enthusiastic Science teacher to join a strong and successful Science Faculty. Applications from both experienced and Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) would be warmly welcomed. The school-based programme for ECTs includes, where possible, a paid three-week intensive initial induction in July. The two year induction programme includes support from both a subject and induction mentor throughout. ECTs have an opportunity to network both in school and during training delivered by our Induction Partner. We also offer a teacher development programme for our teacher’s in their third year of teaching

Person Specification:
8. Qualified Teacher with DfE number or evidence of successful completion of current course
9. Good knowledge and understanding of the Science curriculum
10. Excellent subject knowledge
11. Ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning in Science across the age and ability range
12. Ability to raise standards of attainment and aspiration
13. Good classroom management and commitment to positive behaviour management
14. An understanding of the use of ICT in Science teaching and learning and a willingness to develop its use
15. Successful teaching experience/teaching practice
