This Primary School Support Assistant role provides a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team at Robert Douglas Memorial Primary School (RDM).
The main responsibility of the post is the supervision of pupils on the school premises during the lunchtime interval in particular within the school dining area.
We are looking to appoint a nurturing and committed lunchtime supervisor to join our large welcoming team Monday - Friday.
Hours of work will be approximately 12.15pm - 1.30pm each day.
The Individual
The ability to work independently and as part of the team is essential.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated team at RDM who are committed to providing an excellent education for all young people and promote an ethos of inclusion.
Knowledge of and experience with children of school age would be preferred with the ability to communicate effectively with children and staff.
The successful candidate should be able to engage and interact with children, and be willing to work outdoors in all weather.
