The Role Work 1:1 with a child requiring additional SEN support, focusing on Autism and communication strategies for non-verbal development. Full-time position, starting in January 2025. Collaborate closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external specialists to provide tailored interventions. Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment to help the child achieve personal and educational milestones. The Ideal Candidate Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs, particularly Autism and non-verbal pupils. Understanding of communication tools and techniques (e.g., PECS, Makaton, or AAC devices). Patient, empathetic, and resilient with a nurturing approach to learning.
