Reports to: BIM Team Leader
Salary: Up to £42, - depending on experience
The Role
As the BIM Coordinator you will join our busy BIM Team to support the BIM Team Leader with BIM coordination and the delivery of BIM models for complex fire, life safety, electronic security systems and network infrastructure.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Coordinating and managing all BIM requirements in projects
2. Delegating tasks to BIM Technicians
3. Liaising and collaborating with clients and external stakeholders
4. Creating internal clash reports
5. Attending BIM coordination meetings
6. Setting up models
7. Ensuring links in models are updated weekly
8. Performing CAD checks
9. Exporting & uploading models to CDE
10. Working closely with technicians
11. Supporting and guiding BIM Technicians about project specifics
12. Disseminating information from BIM execution plans

Person Specification
Essential
13. Previous BIM coordination experience
14. Computer literate and proficient in all core Microsoft Office packages
15. Prior experience working with 2D & 3D software
16. Excellent attention to detail
17. Good verbal and written communication skills
18. To be honest, trustworthy and to maintain strict confidentiality in performing duties relating to finance and tenders
19. Ability to form good working relationships with colleagues, customers, and outside bodies
20. Ability to work using your own initiative
Desirable
21. Previous experience within a related field
22. Previous experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit
23. Experience using AutoDesk Construction Cloud
24. Experience using Revit MEP
25. Recognised BIM qualification
26. Proficiency in a European language is desirable but not essential

Working Conditions
The role is based in our Dronfield office, which is an open plan office environment with multi-screen computer use. On occasion the role may require you to attend our other offices.
