With multiple warehouses and a growing team, our technical infrastructure is the backbone of our operations. That’s why we’re looking for a Technical Support Assistant Manager to help us keep things running smoothly.
The Gig
As our Technical Support Assistant Manager, you’ll be our team's first line of support in Nottingham, ensuring that our tech systems are always operational, efficient, and secure.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Setting up and maintaining hardware – Laptops, printers, and other devices.
2. Providing first-level support – Assisting employees with technical issues and troubleshooting on-site problems.
3. Managing and maintaining local network equipment – Routers, switches, and cabling to keep connectivity strong.
4. Overseeing Tech assets – Ensuring all equipment is properly accounted for and backed up.
5. Escalating complex issues – Working closely with our internal or outsourced technical support when additional help is needed.
You'll be hands-on, proactive, and a key part of keeping our tech running smoothly every day.
What we’re looking for
You’ll love this role if you:
* Have experience in IT/technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
* You’ve worked with routers, switches, and cabling.
* Managing IT/Tech assets and backups comes naturally to you.
* You’re the type of person who figures things out and gets things done.
* You can explain tech problems in a way that non-tech people understand.
* Our business is growing, and we need someone who can keep up!
* Bonus points if you have experience working in warehouse, logistics, or eCommerce environments.
