Offshore Methods Lead
Location: Kingston Upon Thames
Contract Duration: 12 months (renewable)
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Methods Lead to join the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP) project, a cutting-edge initiative located in the North East of England. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project focusing on the installation of rigid pipelines, particularly in landfall operations.
Role Overview
As Offshore Methods Lead, you will report directly to the Project Operations Manager and play a pivotal role in ensuring all landfall preparations align with project requirements while supporting the successful execution of operations. You will also oversee third-party activities, maintaining alignment with project schedules, and interface directly with the client to meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Report to the Project Operations Manager on project progress and challenges.
2. Coordinate mobilisation, engineering, and operational activities, ensuring deliverables meet HSE and installation requirements.
3. Ensure efficient and timely execution of activities in line with the installation campaign schedule.
4. Take ownership of the assigned scope of work, including finalising and issuing all relevant documentation and drawings.
5. Oversee and manage the performance of subcontracted work scopes.
6. Actively participate in risk management processes, ensuring operational risks adhere to the ALARP principle.
7. Ensure on-site and offshore operations follow agreed-upon procedures.
Essential Experience
1. Proven experience managing landfall subcontractors.
2. Expertise in mobilising landfall operations.
3. Hands-on experience with shore-pull and wire lay activities.
