Teacher of RE
Prospero Teaching are working closely with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ secondary school located in Fareham, Hampshire.
The school have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Religious Education to join a friendly and supportive department from September 2024 to May 2025 for a period of maternity cover.
Applications from both experienced and Early Career Teachers are encouraged and a comprehensive ECT support package would be available, if appropriate.

CONTRACT DETAILS
1. Location – Fareham, Hampshire
2. Position – Teacher of RE
3. Start date – September 2024
4. Contract duration – until May 2025 (maternity cover)
5. Full time/part time – Full-time
6. Minimum rate of pay – Paid to scale (negotiable)
7. Hours – 8:30 am – 3pm, plus parents’ evenings and department meetings
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
8. QTS or equivalent
9. Minimum 1-year teaching experience in the UK
10. Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
11. Hold Right to Work in the UK
12. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
13. Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
