About Us
EPIC Investment Partners (“EPIC”) is a global financial services platform with 230 people across four integrated divisions Capital, Markets, Administration and Advisory.
EPIC was founded in 2001 by Giles Brand and Hiren Patel, financial services entrepreneurs with backgrounds in private equity. Business building is at the heart of everything we do. We understand the commercial drivers of success and how to support them by allocating capital actively and appropriately. We put our clients first at all times.
Our integrated approach supports corporates, entrepreneurs, and investors by providing access to capital, advice, and administration services across our four divisions:
• Capital: patient and flexible private capital encompassing early-stage investing, private equity and SPACs. £300 million assets under management (“AuM”).
• Markets: fund management platform with £400 million AuM across Equities, Fixed Income, Multi Asset and Managed Futures strategies.
• Administration: full-service outsourced administration platform encompassing Fund Services, Corporate Services and Legal Advertising and Public Notice services. £3 billion assets under administration.
• Advisory: discrete and independent advice to corporates, families and institutions on large and small transactions ranging from £25 million to £1 billion in value.

Our General Partner Services team helps general partners structure and establish funds and raise capital from institutions worldwide. We have expertise in the secondary sale and restructuring of fund assets.
Administration
Our Administration division has £3 billion assets under administration.
We are a full-service outsourced administration platform with global coverage encompassing Fund Services, Corporate Services and Legal Advertising and Public Notice services.
Our clients include large-scale asset managers, public and private companies, private equity firms, start-up funds, family offices and charities. Our extensive expertise and commitment to providing practical solutions helps clients achieve their financial and operational goals through enhanced efficiency and access to innovation.
Role/Responsibilities:
* Making outbound sales telephone calls to target customers based in the UK
* Promotion of Legalads' services and our online order placement platform
* Asking questions to engage target customers and answering any product related questions
* Identifying which supplier the target customer currently uses and persuading them to switch to Legalads, promoting our easy to use ordering system and competitive pricing
* Offering newspaper selection and price quotations for any imminent advertising the target customer requires
* Update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with details of all interactions
* Providing daily feedback to management
* Meeting key performance indicators in terms of calls made and target customer conversions
Profile/core skills:
Essential:
* Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written), as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience of making outbound sales calls or another telephone-based sales or customer service role
* Outstanding negotiating abilities
* Proven track record of effectively fulfilling sales quotas, ideally over the phone
* Ability to understand products and services and describe or explain them to target customers
* Friendly demeanour and ability to gain the trust and confidence of target customers
* Motivated, quick learner, highly organised
* Proficient in MS office
* Ambitious, driven and resilient
* Natural ability to build relationships and influence others
* Ability to stay cool and confident under pressure and respond to challenges from target customers, capable of handling rejection
Desirable:
* Business to business sales experience
* Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience
* Knowledge / experience of the UK legal and/or professional services sectors
