Location: Inverness
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: HC8 £38,474 - £41,714
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To assist, or in the absence of the Manager, be responsible for the management of The Orchard, including the staff, the budget, the resources and fabric of the building and the welfare of the young people. The Orchard includes a residential childcare service and a short care service. The complex includes a larger building, and two smaller houses situated near the main Orchard building.

Requirements
Relevant child care experience
HNC / SVQ Level III in Social Care or be able to demonstrate a commitment to achieve this.
Requirement to meet the registration standard set by the SSSC for staff with supervisory responsibilities
