Description
* Completion and processing of personal self-assessment tax returns
* Completion and processing of partnership self-assessment tax returns
* Completion and processing of forms P11D
* A good knowledge of Corporation Tax and Capital Allowances would be advantageous
* A good knowledge of Trust/Estate Tax Returns would be advantageous
* A good knowledge of Inheritance Tax would be advantageous
* Preparation of basic income & expenditure accounts for sole traders
* Preparation of rental accounts
* Checking & agreeing PAYE coding notices
* Checking & agreeing taxation statements of account
* Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs by telephone or correspondence as required
* General day-to-day handling of clients' tax affairs
Profile
* The successful candidate should be hardworking and professional with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* A full clean driving licence would be preferable.
* AAT/ATT qualified or part qualified.
Job Offer
Competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 (DOE) and wider benefits to include: pension contributions of 3%, annual leave of 21 days plus bank holiday, plus 2 additional days to be taken at set times.
