Approach Personnel are partnering with our long standing client to recruit a Clerk of Works. As a Clerk of Works, you will be an integral part of the team, working exclusively alongside high profile clients on their projects.

Duties
Visiting client sites
Inspecting work on site and ensuring that it is in compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
Analysing project drawings and details and ensuring works are being completed to specification
Writing reports based on inspections and analysis and reporting back to the team on project compliance
Acting as a direct point of contact for the client and contractors, ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction
Liaising with contractors, site management and contracts management
Work to KPI's in relation to dictations and photographs following completion of a site inspection
Work to the Quality Management System in the delivery of all services
Being responsible for multiple live projects simultaneously
About You
Proven extensive experience of working within a construction environment and in a Clerk or Works or similar role
Knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety regulations
Demonstrate a wide an understanding of the building industry, including knowledge of materials, trades, methods and legal requirements
High levels of attention to detail when inspecting site and work, with a strong ability to identify quality, defects and snags

£49,000 per annum
