Details:
Rate: £500 - £600 (3 month contract outside of IR35)
Location: Hybrid working in Corsham (1-2 days a week onsite)
Security Clearance: Ideally, DV clearance but accept SC
About the role
Working with many disparate teams throughout the intelligence community to enable their cross-domain use cases. You will need to manage many different priorities and stakeholders to achieve their business outcomes. This involves analysing their requirements and configuring the cross-domain platform accordingly. Once configured, it may be necessary to work with the teams to debug and resolve any issues and further refine the setup. It is important to be happy engaging with stakeholders with varying seniority and technical understanding.
Responsibilities
1. Managing the integration of customers’ systems with the cross-domain platform, from initial contact to go-live
2. Understanding customers’ use-cases, advising on the best components of the software system to use
3. Managing the lifecycle of customer integrations and retiring integrations when no longer required
4. Providing technical consultancy with customers on how to integrate with the system via REST APIs, SFTP, Web-hooks, etc.
5. Setting up customer access to the cross-domain systems and configuring data flows for these customers
6. Writing and maintaining technical and business documentation
7. Liaising with the development team to resolve technical issues with the system
8. Suggesting process improvements to the implementation process
9. Advising the development team on possible feature enhancements
Key Skills
1. Candidate must have live DV clearance
2. Communicating with technical and business stakeholders
3. Understanding of networking and software architectures
4. Understanding of structured text formats: JSON, XML, CSV
5. Understanding of synchronous and asynchronous architectures
Desirable Skills
1. Exposure to programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Go
2. Familiarity with API definitions: Swagger / Open API 3
3. Familiarisation with shell scripting
4. Experience with Cloud Formation templates
5. Familiarisation with AWS administration
6. Technical authorship
