About THE ROLE
The PVH finance team is instrumental to the success of the PVH Region North business. Acting as true business partners, the team is responsible for providing accurate, timely, and reliable information that supports our strategic direction.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance, this role will be responsible for managing all sample fulfillment for our Wholesale, Ecommerce, Product, and Marketing teams. This is a full-time role, working on-site fully, Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities include:
1. Brand liaison contact for key account customers, managing and maintaining external relationships.
2. Provides support and instruction to the sample assistant.
3. Provides key development and leadership responsibility for the sample assistant role.
4. Guarantee all sample daily requests are satisfied for the UK & Ireland market using Fashion GPS.
5. Ensure departmental best practices are adhered to - storage of samples, labeling of samples, showroom setup, and send-outs of samples.
6. Manage previous season pack down effectively and new season setup.
7. Managing sample deliveries, in-season product, and showroom samples.
8. Management of samples for internal and external PR events.
9. Management of sample fulfillment to PR journalists.
10. Building & maintaining effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the business & external partners.
11. Delivering management updates to key stakeholders, internally and externally.
12. Strategically plan and manage the departmental critical path, managing cross-functional collaboration and communication to ensure deadlines are met.
13. Preparation of samples for internal Seasonal Kick Off meetings.
14. Think ‘Blue sky’, plan new initiatives and approaches to best practice to progress and develop the department.
About YOU
You’ll have previous experience in a similar sample role or analytical based field.
You’ll take ownership, running the sample department critical path and ensuring projects are delivered on time.
You’ll collaborate to win, having strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease.
You’ll be proactive and a team player, ready to get involved when needed.
You’ll be analytically minded, understanding large data sheets and delivering relevant information to make informed decisions.
You'll have intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
You will work well with change, being able to adapt fast and work with pace.
Knowledge of Fashion GPS is an added bonus but not essential as training will be provided.
