About the Role We're excited to announce an opportunity for a Midweight Product Photographer to be a part of our expanding team in the UK In this role, you’ll be a key player in our product launches, producing high-quality imagery that reflects our brand’s premium aesthetic that will be used across all our digital channels. Your core responsibility will be to shoot and retouch studio product photography but from time-to-time you will get the opportunity to work on studio video, lifestyle photography and organic content such as product unboxing videos. This role offers a unique and exciting opportunity to own the production of studio product imagery and produce assets seen by hundreds of thousands of customers across the world. About You As a Product Photographer at Mous, you will be supported by a collaborative but need to be confident producing high-quality imagery autonomously. We’re looking for someone that can balance multiple projects and deadlines, especially during peak periods when assets are in high demand. Our website product gallery images need to be consistent so attention to detail and ability to work systematically to a style guide is important. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment, playing a crucial role in driving our projects to successful completion with precision and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Product Photography: Capture vivid product images for all product launches, ensuring images are of high quality and align with brand standards. Image Editing: Retouch and grade photos and create final image assets, optimising for various digital platforms. Studio Management: Keep our small in-house studio organised and stocked with assets we need to produce our best work. ✔️ How will success be measured? Master Brand Guidelines: Become confident in understanding and applying brand identity through imagery. Process Understanding: Develop a solid grasp of internal processes, including taking briefs, updating stakeholders, and delivering final images. Product Knowledge: Gain familiarity with current and upcoming products to anticipate content creation needs. Skills Requirements Fluent in English, both verbal and written communication. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Product Photography Experience: 2 years in product photography, with a strong portfolio showcasing skills. Technical Skills: Strong lighting and compositional skills; proficient in Adobe CC with excellent Photoshop skills, colour matching, colour grading. Video Editing: Basic experience with Premiere Pro and Lightroom. Nice-to-Have Skills Relevant Degree: A degree in photography, media, or a related field. Project Management Software: Experience with project management tools such as Wrike Video Enhancement: After Effects skills and experience in shooting and editing video. Personal Traits Problem Solver: Resilient and creative in overcoming challenges. Team-Oriented: Collaborative, reliable, and supportive in team settings. Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and a knack for precision in all content produced.
