We are recruiting for a Technical Services Manager / Hard Facilities Manager to oversee designated sites in Scotland. You will play a key role in managing service delivery for Engineering operations, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. The role is a permanent position paying a basic of up to 49k plus package and benefits. Mon-Fri 40 hours per week. Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day operations of all hard services, including statutory and mandatory tasks.
2. Lead the Technical Team, manage subcontractor relationships, and provide expert advice to the Account Support Manager.
3. Build and maintain client relationships, focusing on the Five Behaviours to enhance engagement and performance.
4. Implement and maintain business improvement and process improvement initiatives.
5. Support client in consolidating the Scotland North portfolio through demobilisation and asset management strategies.
6. Increase penetration into under-developed sites by building relationships with on-site client teams to be the first point of contact for additional works beyond contracted works.
Requirements:
1. IOSH Certificate in Managing Safety, NEBOSH.
2. Proven experience in building services management and M&E operations.
3. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to all levels.
4. Evidence of client-facing experience.
5. People management experience, maximizing team performance in a service environment.
6. City & Guilds Craft Qualification Certificate in mechanical and/or Electrical.
7. Computer literate, numerate, and literate with excellent communication skills.
8. Ability to interpret and utilize financial and commercial data.
9. Time-flexible, adaptable to job requirements, and able to work under pressure.
