We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our growing Developments team! The Developments team are a key part of our Ecommerce function, implementing, testing and building on the user experience of our website and App, plus managing the requirements of our partnered brands and the overall content of our website!
The role
As a Product Manager at NEXT, you will be responsible for heading up our Search stream, collaborating with a mixture of both systems and business teams. You will lead a team of product owners to deliver NEXT’s vision, tracking key project success KPIs and continual analysis of features delivered and their impact on the customer experience.
What else is involved?
* Support the Head of Development in taking ownership of a product channel, delivering projects across two Search streams, detailing delivery plans, capturing key project milestones and dependencies.
* Understand customer needs through feedback and analysis, ensuring that data is at the heart of all decisions.
* Pull together business plans for presentation to Directors and Key stakeholders.
* Ensure product health and speed and performance is at the forefront of your approach.
* Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of the business and translate them into detailed requirements, considering potential risks attached to suggestions made.
* Shape processes and new initiatives out to the wider team.
* Increase agile maturity across your streams and ways of working.
* Help formulate the strategy and direction of Search online and drive personalisation for our customers.
What we’re looking for
* Experience in leading streams of product owners within the digital / eCommerce sector.
* Experience in strategy and growth planning.
* Excellent managerial and thought leader skills in the digital space, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
* A proven ability to apply excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and to work collaboratively to deliver effective solutions to project-related issues.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to talk to and present to a range of audiences.
* A passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.
* Highly motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience and capability in change management.
* Experience of working in Agile environments and with Agile / SCRUM methodologies.
* Proficient in Google for business / Microsoft Office.
* Not essential: experience using Agile tools such as TFS / JIRA or similar.
