A Senior Sales Manager with at least 5 years of experience and a background in the legal sector is needed to join the team at this rapidly growing software development company for legal services on a full-time, remote (work-from-home) basis. The Senior Sales Manager will play a decisive role in driving their sales efforts within the legal sector, emphasising operational execution and leadership. This is a UK-based role with travel across the UK and further abroad as needed in line with their growth. This role offers excellent earning potential with an OTE of £120k. About the Role Using your deep knowledge of the industry, its players, and its relationships, you will lead their charge for revenue growth. In addition to direct sales activities, you will also take the lead on account development, ensuring long-term client relationships and sustained growth. As a sales leader, you will build and manage a high-performing sales team, guiding them through all stages of the sales process from prospecting to closing deals. Your leadership will be essential in shaping a cohesive, results-driven sales organisation. You will also oversee sales governance, developing and monitoring key metrics and reporting systems to ensure the team operates efficiently and meets performance targets. Key Responsibilities: Develop detailed buyer and user personas, specifically in the legal sector, to guide sales efforts Identify and refine the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) for targeted outreach and sales campaign Identify and qualify new leads through various channels, including LinkedIn, news sources, legal directories, class action news (EU, USA, Australia), events, trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, social media, and compliance officer groups Monitor and analyse trends in class action news and legal sector developments to identify potential opportunities Implement, monitor and manage key stage metrics Design and deliver reporting for forecasting and results Set and manage team goals Performance manage the sales team Develop and execute strategic sales plans, aligned with product development Ensure alignment with overall business objectives and market opportunities Identify resourcing needs and constraints Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team Share knowledge within the sales team to continuously improve outreach strategies and tactics Required Experience: At least 5 years of experience managing and leading a sales team, with a demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and motivate Sales Executives A strong background in sales within the legal sector and in selling SAAS products The role requires overseeing all aspects of the sales pipeline, from lead generation and qualification to closing and customer retention Exposure to CRM tools is highly desirable Evidence of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with experience in setting performance goals and driving team performance Familiarity with the legal sector or SaaS industry is highly desirable, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs Experience in a hands-on, operational role with a focus on daily sales activities and process optimisation A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field would be preferred but is not essential Sounds interesting?
