I am currently recruiting for a procurement business partner for my client who helps practices and commissioners get the best care for patients while ensuring good value.
This is a remote working role with occasional travel to Manchester the office.
This is an exciting time to be joining this team of 4. This is a temporary role initially for 12 months but could well be extended.
Key Responsibilities:
* Experience in public sector buying.
* Willing to work in a small team, must manage own workload and exceed deadline expectations.
* Wide experience of purchasing and business areas preferred as the work will involve supporting all the functions and teams within the organisation.
* Ability to fully explain framework procurement's and how these can differ pending each framework and buyer's guide.
* Knowledge and experience in both Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and the Procurement Act 2023.
* Ability to clearly explain how and why (pending on what you are buying, whether frameworks under 2015 regulations or new procurements under the new Act) the procurement process and requirements differ.
* Ability to assist teams in writing their specifications, criteria, weighting, assessment questions, etc.
