How you’ll help us make health happen: As Solutions Architect at Bupa, you will: Lead the development of architectures for complex solutions ensuring consistency with agreed requirements. Establish policies, principles and practices for the selection of solution architecture components. Manage trade-offs and balances functional, service quality and systems management requirements within a significant area of the organisation. Communicates proposed decisions to stakeholders. Coordinate and manages the target architecture across multiple projects or initiatives. Maintains a stable, viable architecture and ensures consistency of design and adherence to appropriate standards across multiple projects or initiatives. Sets strategies, policies, standards and practices to ensure compliance between business strategies, technology strategies, and enterprise transformation activities. Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: Extensive experience of working as a solution architect, with some experience as a business or solutions analyst, developer, tester or similar project environment. Strong experience of working across a broad range of technologies used in a clinics and hospital environment including typically deployed applications (e.g. GP, Hospital PAS, PACS), infrastructure (e.g. networks and clinical devices) and relevant standards, such as HL7, FHIR and DICOM. Familiarity of developing solution designs in technology frameworks including Java, Spring Boot, GCP / Azure, React JS and React Native. Experience of the acquisition of new businesses and the integration of the business to defined target architectures. ISEB certification or equivalent would be desirable. Understanding and experience of Requirements Management. Ability to manage your own time and allocations and work autonomously. Resilience in an unpredictable and demanding environment where work levels can rapidly change. Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience of working with different internal stakeholder groups, as well as and external suppliers.
