Sales and Business Development Manager
Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Sales and Business Development Manager on behalf of our client based in Telford, Shropshire.
The successful candidate will be joining a market leading UK designer and manufacturer of steel-based partition, door and ceiling systems for a wide range of sectors including Pharmaceutical, Science & Research, Food, Automotive, Aerospace and Commercial Interiors.
Hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00am – 16:30pm & Fri 08:00am – 15:30pm.
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum DOE | Company car + Laptop & Mobile Phone | WFH Options
Duties include but not limited to:
1. Increase sales & turnover to minimum £4M within two years.
2. Manage & develop existing customer base and key accounts.
3. Identify additional customers who mirror existing key accounts and develop those relationships.
4. Measure, report and understand customer ‘value’ – Enquiry win rate, year-on-year revenue, customer retention/loss.
5. Develop & implement effective sales & marketing strategies.
6. Manage marketing campaigns, analyse and report results.
7. Report accurate monthly and quarterly sales performance and projections to the Directors.
8. Manage existing sales resource and identify additional requirements in line with targets and sales performance.
Ideal Candidate:
1. 5+ years’ experience within a similar position.
2. Construction sales experience essential.
3. Highly Motivated.
4. Focused.
5. Ambitious.
6. Team Player.
7. Driven.
8. Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Good networking skills.
10. Proven track record of business development and increasing sales/turnover levels within similar businesses.
11. Hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
