What does this team do?Deloitte has built a market leading team that supports top tier financial institutions in managing and implementing change, driven by new regulatory and strategic risk management objectives.The team specialises in providing innovative advice and solutions, offering clients services that help them manage regulatory compliance, corporate governance and operational risk as well as helping them improve firm-wide culture. We also develop and implement RegTech solutions to supplement our clientcurrent risk management processes.What skills and academic qualifications do I need?You enjoy meeting and talking to new people. What kind of work will I do?Our clients are typically some of the largest and most influential organisations in the financial services sector, including:Banks Insurance FirmsConsumer Credit firms (e.g. Buy-now-pay-later firms)Asset and Wealth Managers Investment BanksPayments and Digital Asset firmsWe often work with senior stakeholders such as Chief Risk Officers, Chief Compliance Officers and Chief Operating Officers, to deliver risk management capabilities that are tailored to the individual characteristics of the client and the risk appetite of the Board of Directors. The work we do supports clients in navigating the regulatory agenda, so keeping up to date with the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) is a key part of the role. day-to-day basis, you will be involved with: Speaking to clients and delivering workshops to facilitate discussion and decision making Analysis of client documentation e.g. policies, customers journeys, risk management frameworksDevelopment of client deliverables e.g. report writing or creating Microsoft Ppt slides (such as for a Board pack or training materials) Research and analysis on industry and business trends including supporting with the development of eminence, e.g. blog posts and publications, and propositional workWhatfor me?You will be joining this programme alongside a cohort of like-minded colleagues. At the start of your programme,fyou will be part of an induction where you will meet all of the other graduates joining Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory and will learn a multitude of skills to help you become ready and feel confident working withfour clients.This will be followed by a Risk, Regulation and Governance specific induction, where you will meet a number of the team and learn about the key projects, sectors and clients that they support. They will talk you through everything you need to know ahead of your first day in the team. Once you join your team you will also receive continued professional development support via your project team, coach and your buddy who will befassigned to you.How will I develop?An important part of your personal development is ensuring we give you the opportunity to complete both internal and external training. The completion of training will help both your technical and soft skills. You will be required to sit exams with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) Level 4 UK Regulation and Professional Integrity and Level 6 Regulation and Compliance attain relevant technical knowledge for your role with us.
