You will be joining a very secure and expanding business, where you will enjoy a varied workload, a great team culture and an exciting new career move.\n\nThe Job You’ll Do:\n\n * The Planned Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment through meticulous planning and execution of preventative maintenance activities.\n\n * This role will involve conducting regular inspections, implementing preventative maintenance schedules, and addressing any issues proactively to ensure customer satisfaction.\n\n * Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.\n\n * Perform regular safety checks on maintenance equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition and safe to use.\n\n * Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.\n\n * Promote safe work practices and behaviours among team members, emphasizing the importance of following established safety procedures, using equipment properly, and communicating hazards or concerns.\n\n * Ensure that service reports, time sheets etc. are completed correctly and submitted on time.\n\n * Liaising with Service Controller’s and Product Support Managers daily to ensure maximum efficiency.\n\nAbout You.\n\n * Full UK Driving Licence.\n\n * Previous experience servicing heavy, plant construction machinery or HGV’s.\n\n * Proven background as a skilled service mechanic.\n\n * Experienced in troubleshooting modern hydraulic systems and diesel engines.\n\n * Ability to work under pressure, with the aptitude to think on your feet and resolve issues that may arise.\n\n * Excellent IT skills required with a good ability to analyse fault code data.\n\n * Level 3 NVQ Plant Maintenance is preferred
