Software Support Analyst (Hybrid) - £25,000 per annum - Hull
Principal IT are proud to be supporting a well-known digital services provider in Hull that is looking for a Software Support Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting their future strategy. They are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves troubleshooting, and has a passion for IT that extends beyond the screen.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Desktop support assistance and internal support
2. Responsible for technical setup of internal software products
3. Highlight potential sales opportunities within the client's environment
4. Talking to clients through a series of actions, either face to face, over the telephone, emails, or ticketing system, and recording all actions.
5. Identification & qualification of issues
6. Taking ownership and resolving queries or escalating to other team members and/or suppliers to work together on issues.
7. Responding within agreed time limits, rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals.
8. Identify when a solution needs to be charged and escalate accordingly, completing required documentation where necessary.
Essential Skills:
1. Experience of dealing with customers in a support environment
2. Strong fault-finding techniques
3. Basic understanding of scripting languages (SQL/VisualBasic/Javascript)
4. Basic understanding of the project lifecycle
5. Experience working with ticketing systems
6. Flexible, self-motivated, and ambitious.
Experience in any of the following software products would also be beneficial:
1. Document Management
2. Intelligent Capture
3. Electronic Forms
4. Robotic Process Automation
5. Output Management
6. Business Intelligence
The Package:
