About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Global Sales Development Manager to join Experis, a leading company in the oil and gas industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented sales professional to expand our market presence across Europe and Africa.
Main Responsibilities:
* Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets with autonomy to craft your own strategies.
* Buid and nurture relationships with key clients understanding their needs to provide tailored solutions.
* Lead negotiations and close deals with oil and gas operators and service companies.
* Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with market demands.
* Manage a small team of sales representatives offering mentorship and guidance to enhance performance.
* Expand the wider business development function by identifying growth areas and new market segments.
* Monitor sales performance metrics and report progress to senior management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience selling PDC drill bits or related products within the oil and gas sector.
* 5-10 years of field sales experience with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Some experience in people management with the ability to motivate and lead a sales team.
* Solid understanding of the oil and gas industry particularly drilling operations.
* Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to travel extensively throughout Europe and Africa.
