Salary: £65,000 per annum
Terms & Conditions: Full Time (37 hours per week/52 weeks per year), Management Contract, Member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT)

*Your main base could be at our St. Austell campus, or our Duchy College campus in Stoke Climsland however regular travel across all sites throughout Cornwall & Devon is required.

About the Role
Cornwall College Group is seeking a strategic, dynamic, and committed individual to join our Executive Leadership Team as Vice Principal Curriculum and Students. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving the quality of teaching, learning, assessment, and the student experience across the Group. You will play a central role in ensuring all students have access to the best possible learning outcomes, with a focus on safeguarding, personal development, equality, and inclusion.
As Vice Principal, you will work closely with the Executive Principal and our Principals in both General Further Education (GFE) and Landbased sectors, to ensure that all students benefit from an outstanding, inclusive, and enriching learning experience. You will play a critical role in driving forward the quality of provision for students, ensuring robust quality assurance processes, and leading initiatives in equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and delivery of high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across curriculum teams.
* Work with senior leaders to improve underperforming areas and ensure consistency in the delivery of courses.
* Oversee SEND provision, Additional Learning Support, and the personal development curriculum.
* Lead on safeguarding and child protection as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
* Champion student experience, including ensuring effective mental health support, tutorial programmes, and a safe and inclusive learning environment.
* Act as the lead for equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout the Group.

Skills & Experience
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with:
* Extensive experience in senior leadership within further education or a related sector.
* A strong commitment to student experience, safeguarding, and quality assurance.
* A passion for inclusive education and a demonstrable understanding of the challenges facing students, particularly those with high needs.
* The ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement across all areas of the curriculum and student support.
* Proven leadership skills with a track record of leading high-performing teams and delivering strategic outcomes.
