We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Service team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To achieve Company KPI’s of First Time Fix Rate.
2. To achieve Company KPI’s for Mean Time Between Failure.
3. To achieve Company KPI’s of Car Stock accuracy.
4. To achieve Company KPI’s of implementation of ECR’s and TB’s.
5. To achieve Company KPI’s of performing PMI’s promptly.
6. To provide effective Technical Phone Support.
7. FSE’s must ensure that they introduce themselves to the senior member of laboratory staff at the start of each site visit.
8. Confirmation of fault details / circumstances etc. must be ascertained prior to commencing work on analyser.
9. If work is required on another analyser at site being attended, then SA admin must be informed prior to any work taking place. No work will take place without the specific authorization from SA.
Essential requirements for this role
1. Must hold a full driver’s licence.
2. Experience in a similar engineering role.
3. HND (HNC with relevant experience) or equivalent in electronic and mechanical engineering.
4. Knowledge of Hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
5. Exceptional Fault-Finding Skills.
6. The ability to read and understand technical diagrams.
7. Customer focused – should strive to exceed customer requirements.
8. Good and effective written and verbal communicator.
9. Job flexibility & willingness to travel – support of peers and juniors throughout the UK, Ireland and Northern Ireland may be required.
10. Good working knowledge in MS Windows.
11. General knowledge in MS Office products, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
