Based in Croydon, Rape Crisis South London is a specialist sexual violence centre providing an exceptional standard of therapeutic support for women and girls who have experienced rape and/or childhood sexual abuse – and they’re looking for an Office & Facilities Manager to join their team.
This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week, paying £38k - £42k. Due to the nature of the role (managing the physical office location), you will be required in the office 5 days per week. There is a possibility that this will reduce to 4 days in the office once the office is running smoothly!

The role will see you involved in the following areas:
* Office Management: Use a range of software, including email, spreadsheets, and databases, to ensure the efficient running of the office, including coordinating space planning and office relocations, and overseeing cleaning activities to maintain a clean and safe environment.
* Administration: Develop and implement new administrative systems, managing online and paper filing systems, and handling incoming and outgoing mail.
* Line Management: Delegate work to administrative and reception staff, managing their workload and output, and providing cover for reception when needed.
* Data Protection: Assist the Finance Director to ensure that data protection laws are being adhered to in relation to the storage of data, and review and update policies.
* Health & Safety: Review and update health and safety policies and ensure they're observed, managing inspection records and overseeing H&S procedures. Conduct health and safety checks and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations, identifying any hazards. Obtain and maintain qualified first aider status.
* Buildings Maintenance: Coordinate and oversee facility maintenance, repairs, and renovations, collaborating with landlord on building-related issues and maintaining records of maintenance contracts with external contractors, as well as records of hazards, faults, and repairs.
* Budget Management: Manage relevant office budgets.
* Utilities: Monitor meter readings, identifying waste reduction opportunities.
* Policies: Assist in developing and implementing facility policies and procedures.
In addition to general office and people management skills, we’d love it if you already have:
* Advanced IT skills, proficient with a wide range of Microsoft Office programmes (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, CRM Database).
* A good understanding of relevant health and safety, IOSH and ICO, GDPR and confidentiality.
* Either first aider trained / willing to obtain and maintain accreditation.
* An understanding of working in sensitive and confidential environments, with a commitment to supporting survivors of rape and sexual violence.
