Main duties of the job Responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care for babies. Support the Nurse in charge with the management and organisation of work as required. Supervise, mentor and assess learners, students and unregistered staff on a regular basis. Work effectively and efficiently with the integrated multidisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care. Assist in developing and maintaining a suitable and stimulating learning environment for students and for the ongoing professional development of registered staff. Adheres to Trust Policy of Safeguarding children. Promote and monitor the adherence of infection control policies and procedures. Ensure the working environment is clean and fit for purpose.
