* Provide global support and expertise for new systems and solutions (e.g., OMP) for demand planning and consensus forecasting processes to maintain standards, process adherence, drive continuous improvement, and ensure system adoption.
* Enhance people’s capabilities skills and knowledge of the demand planning and consensus forecasting community across systems and processes.
* To partner with Global Process Owners, Analytics, Data Teams, Operational SMEs and GSK Technology Product Owners to drive continuous improvement across the planning processes including system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and help manage advanced solution capabilities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in demand planning and consensus forecasting.
* Maintain and sustain capability by providing ongoing support and coaching to the wider demand planning and consensus forecasting community by providing on job expert support and supporting level 3 queries as needed.
* Develop and implement training programs to enhance and sustain the skills and knowledge of the demand planning and consensus forecasting team in new systems and processes.
* Foster a culture of continuous learning and development to ensure successful adoption of new tools and systems. Act as an advocate for greater use of automation/digitalisation and drive data quality improvements
* Partner with Global Process Owners, Analytics, Data Quality, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and GSK Technology Product Owners to ensure alignment and integration of demand planning processes and consensus forecast and systems.
* Lead or support initiatives to continuously improve demand planning and consensus forecasting processes and system solutions. Including communicating changes effectively to all stakeholders, ensuring understanding and buy-in while providing support help individuals and teams.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and advancements, including facilitating regular meetings and workshops to drive alignment and share best practices across the organization.
* Advocate for the super user community and ensure there is an active knowledge sharing and learning culture across different demand planning and consensus forecast teams, highlighting gaps and flagging as needed.
* Ensure adherence to established processes and guidelines and conduct reviews to understand compliance.
* Recommend key improvement initiatives for driving improved supply chain performance working with key stakeholder groups.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
* Min 3 years of experience in Practical Demand Planning in pharmaceutical industry
* Experiences in supply chain processes and systems within a business environment.
* Experience in OMP is a must
* Degree in supply chain related discipline, logistics, supply management, demand management or operational management
* Continuous Improvement mindset – from identification through to delivery.
* Problem solving abilities suitable for handling highly complex issues
* Strong leadership and high influencing skills across multiple stakeholder level
* Project management
