The Role
* Positively leading our team of carers, often by example, always with a smile.
* Completing regular spot checks, competencies, and supervisions.
* Case managing residents and liaising with families and healthcare professionals, updating care plans.
* Become a medication champion.
* Administering and recording medication and completing staff competencies.
* Carrying out risk assessments.
* Providing exceptional care to our residents when cover is needed.
* Career development and access to funded courses to develop you in your role.
* Wellbeing support.
* Monthly audits.
* Ensuring policies and procedures are kept up to date and adhered to.
About You
* Kind and compassionate.
* Well-organised, IT literate, and confident to manage and delegate work.
* NVQ Level 3 in health and social care desirable.
* Proven ability to lead and supervise others.
* Good understanding of care and care planning.
* Experienced in medication management.
* Proactive in your approach to caring for our residents to provide the best person-centred care possible.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
Experience:
* Providing care: 1 year (preferred)
* Supervisory: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
* Driving Licence (preferred)
* NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care (preferred)
