Key Responsibilities: Caseload Management: Manage a varied and complex caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages, ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met. Draft, review, and amend legal documents such as contracts, transfers, and completion statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with property law. Prepare files for exchange and completion, ensuring that all deadlines are met and legal requirements are fully satisfied. Conduct detailed legal research and gather necessary documentation to support transactions, ensuring full compliance with relevant property law and regulations. File and Compliance Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and compliant client files in accordance with legal, regulatory, and firm standards. Conduct thorough due diligence, including reviewing title deeds, searches, and mortgage offers, to identify and mitigate any potential risks or issues. Provide legal guidance and solutions to resolve complex issues that arise during transactions, ensuring smooth and successful outcomes. Technical and Administrative Support: Oversee the management of case files, ensuring all necessary documentation is processed, reviewed, and filed correctly, maintaining the highest standards of organisation. Utilise conveyancing software and case management systems to track progress and ensure timely completion of transactions. Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction, particularly when handling complex or high-value cases. Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, offering guidance and training where required, and ensuring smooth workflows within the team.
