The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented solicitor to join the Corporate and Commercial Team. The role offers the chance to work with a diverse range of clients, including business owners, entrepreneurs, investors, companies, partnerships, social enterprises, charities, and schools. This position is based in either the London or Cambridge office, with hybrid working options available.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, such as supply, distribution, licensing, and services agreements, with an emphasis on technology and innovation.
2. Advising clients on IP protection strategies and managing IP portfolios within corporate and commercial transactions.
3. Supporting strategic collaborations, including technology transfers, R&D agreements, and partnerships for innovation.
4. Managing your own caseload while maintaining strong relationships with clients.
5. Contributing to marketing and business development activities, including presenting on commercial and IP matters.

Requirements:
1. At least 2 years' PQE with experience in commercial and IP law.
2. Strong drafting, file management, and client relationship-building skills.
3. Ability to work independently, with support available from the team when needed.
4. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
5. Proven experience managing your own caseload and supervising others.
Desirable:
1. Experience or interest in leading business development initiatives.
2. Previous experience in supervising and developing junior members of the team.
