GSC Grays are a multi-disciplinary professional services firm covering the North of England. Our Chartered Surveyors, Farm Business Consultants, Planning and Development Professionals, Valuers, Environmental Specialists and Estate Agents provide a full range of services for our rural client base.
Main purpose of the job:
We are currently recruiting for the role of Recruitment Advisor to join our team based in Colburn. Within this role you will be responsible for recruitment across the business and supporting the HR Manager.
Reporting Structure:
The role reports to the HR Manager.
The role and responsibilities:
* Responsibility for the end to end recruitment into the varied roles within the company. These include professional fee earning, estate agency and support staff on a permanent and occasionally a temporary basis, depending on the need
* Identifying the most appropriate sourcing channels to attract the best talent for the role, develop creative recruiting strategies
* Creating job specifications
* Appropriately screening all levels of candidates from entry level to senior level positions based on job specification and skill requirement
* Managing the interview and assessment process, meeting candidates with managers and directors
* Advising directors on recruitment best practice and informing them of trends in the market place, planning future staffing needs
* Maintaining a database of candidates
* Planning and attending recruitment events
* Promoting an inclusive and dynamic company culture.
The skills we are looking for in you:
* Possess CIPD level 3 or above
* Have at least 2 years' experience in a recruitment role
* Ability to prioritise busy workload - the workload is sometimes relatively high, and the role calls for someone who can manage their workload calmly and set priorities
* Ability to act on own initiative whilst also working within company processes and procedures
* Have good organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels
* Be a strategic thinker with leadership abilities
* Possess tact, discretion and respect for confidentiality
* Experience within a professional services organisation preferred.

* Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
