About the Business Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing accountancy and professional services firm based in Merseyside. As they continue to expand their reach and services, they are looking for a Marketing / Business Development Manager to strengthen their external presence and internal engagement. The Role As the Marketing / Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of marketing strategy and execution across multiple channels. You will work closely with the Partners to develop impactful campaigns, manage digital content, and drive brand awareness through both online and offline efforts. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to shape the firm’s public-facing image. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement strategic marketing and advertising plans to promote the firm’s brand and services. Manage external communications using modern marketing tools (including website, email campaigns, and social media). Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns and SEO efforts. Monitor competitor activity and market trends, providing insights to the Partner group. Produce engaging, high-quality digital content such as blogs, infographics, and videos. Oversee and maintain up-to-date website content. Drive audience engagement through active management of social media channels (LinkedIn, Twitter). Identify and secure advertising opportunities in the local business press. Liaise with external agencies and key stakeholders to manage PR, events, and marketing material. Maintain and update the prospect and referrer database. Promote internal awareness of marketing activities and support team engagement. Organise and attend industry events, including seminars and conferences. What We’re Looking For: CIM qualification(s) and strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and tools. Previous experience in a marketing/business development role, ideally within professional services. Proficiency in SEO, email marketing, social media, and content creation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisation and time management, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Confident networker with strong relationship-building skills. A proactive mindset with a creative, solution-focused approach.
