The Pharmacy Department at Barts Health is one of the largest in the country and covers a population of 2.5 million. We provide clinical pharmacy and medicines optimisation services from our five hospital sites across the City of London, East and North East London.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and compassionate pharmacist to join our friendly and forward-thinking Medicines Information, Safety and Governance team.
The post holder will lead and develop the Medicines Information Service. The post holder will manage the Medicines Information (MI) team and be responsible for the organisation, management and delivery of the service across the Trust. The successful post holder will support the strategic development of the MI service in line with local and national priorities.
Main duties of the job
Candidates should possess significant experience in a Medicines Information department and demonstrate the ability to assess and manage risk. You will need excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to build effective relationships within multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will be a role model with the vision, insight, and self-motivation to initiate and implement change.
