NRL have an urgent role for a Stores Person to work in a mobile position covering locations such as Didcot, Little Barford & Great Yarmouth.
This is a position for 40 weeks initially, and you will need access to your own vehicle for commuting. Accommodation & travel covered and hours are 8am - 4pm.
The right candidate will need to be an experienced Stores Person with a background in power generation, automotive parts, armed forces or similar and required to maintain stock control and condition, and to replenish stocks.
Key responsibilities:
* Control the receiving and issuing of goods
* Conduct physical stock checks
* Ensure security of all stores and monitoring of access
* Daily processing of MRP and creation of manual purchase requisitions and manage call off orders
* Coordinate external refurbishment of spares
* Coding of spares
* Maintain data quality and update poor records
* Identification and resolution of duplication
* Shelf life management
* Appropriate storage of hazardous materials
* Application of stock management skills, FIFO, temperature and humidity control etc.
What you need:
* Competent in the use of SAP R/3 and/or S/4 - Materials Management
* Counterbalance forklift licence required and reach truck useful (for Little Barford)
