About The Client:
Our client is a leading provider of nationwide two-person and one-person assisted "White Glove" home delivery services in the UK. They are currently seeking an experienced Operation Manager to support the General Manager and oversee operations at one of their key distribution centres.
Job Overview:
In this hands-on leadership role, you will be fully responsible for managing depot operations, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and outstanding service delivery. You will play a key role in maintaining our Customer First approach by managing resources, improving operational performance, and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day depot operations, ensuring service levels and cost targets are met.
Cost & Budget Control: Assist the General Manager in managing the depot budget, optimizing productivity, and controlling labor costs, overtime, and agency usage.
Recruitment & Team Management: Lead depot recruitment efforts in line with company standards, ensuring the right talent is onboarded.
