Assistant Family Liaison Officer (Secondary)
HAY scale 5A-E (£19,399-£19,709 gross actual salary)
32.5 hours per week, Term time only
We are looking to appoint a self-motivated and well-organised Assistant Family Liaison Officer on our secondary site.
The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Family Liaison Officer, providing practical help and emotional support to pupils and families. Responsibilities include:
1. Providing a range of administrative duties to ensure a comprehensive safeguarding support service.
2. Supporting the Family Liaison Officer with their work on preventative and early intervention activities.
3. Contributing to students’ learning and achievement.
4. Enabling parents to take responsibility for their child’s education and welfare.
This role will be well suited for candidates who have:
1. Safeguarding and child protection experience.
2. Sound knowledge and understanding of child growth and development.
3. Understanding of the parenting needs of children.
4. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
