IT and Digital is pleased to offer an opportunity for a Project Delivery Manager within the Architecture, Transition and Project Portfolio Management (ATP) service. The successful candidate will form part of the ATP management team which operates across a Surrey County Council, East Sussex County Council and Brighton and Hove City Council and lead the Surrey Project Delivery Team.

About the Role
The successful candidate will manage the Surrey Project Delivery Team within the IT and Digital service. You will be accountable for maintaining the standards of project delivery within the PRINCE2 framework and the continual improvement of the teams' professional standards.
As new project requests are received from across the broad range of council services, you will help assess the project scope and assign appropriate resources to manage the project throughout the project life cycle. You will work with our business partners to ensure the right projects are worked on at the right time to meet the councils' objectives and strategic plans.
You will act as a point of escalation for your team members, providing expert advice in the practice of Project Management and support the Project Management Office and Project Transition teams in ensuring appropriate governance and standards are maintained. You will be responsible for undertaking regular performance reviews of team members and producing and delivering a continual service improvement plan for the Project Delivery Team.
