Are you a mechanical QS with experience in surveying MEP systems, looking to progress your career and train into the heat network industry within a role with excellent career progression where you will help head up the QS team?

My client is one of the most reputable consultancy firms working with district heating networks across the UK, turning over up to 10 million annually. Based in London in a state-of-the-art office, they are future-focused and growing, with an extensive project pipeline within the future-proof industry of district heating networks and building services.
In this role, you will help in establishing sound QS practices across the company. You will be conducting site visits, preparing tender documentation, generating 1st principal cost estimates, and working on both the client and supply chain side of projects ranging from 500,000 to 15 million.
This is ideal for someone who is currently in a QS role with experience in MEP systems. You will be looking for a role with excellent career progression - where you have the chance to influence QS practice as well as train and develop into areas you think would benefit your career. The Role:
* Site surveys and visits, conducting take-offs and querying design.
* Generating 1st principle cost estimates of heat network projects.
* Tender preparation and documentation - with an active role in contract management.
* Supporting the full lifecycle of projects, supporting the design, project management, and finance functions.
* Role based from home, with occasional site visits and London office visits.
The Candidate:
* Currently working in an Estimator / QS Role.
* Experience includes MEP systems.
* Experience in site surveys.
* Experience in tender stage work - along with 1st principle estimates and contract management (JCT and ideally NEC4).
* Based anywhere in the UK but happy with outlined travel details.
